Quo Vadis

Nationality Rooms Tour Guides at the University of Pittsburgh

About

About Us

Quo Vadis members serve as the tour guides to the approximately 40,000 annual visitors of the Nationality Rooms within the University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning. We are a group that allows students of the University and the wider community to explore the nationalities and ethnic groups of Pittsburgh through these 31 classrooms, each of which was uniquely designed and donated by the cultural circles that helped and continue to help build the city of Pittsburgh.

As an organization we provide specialty tours including Halloween Tours, a Holiday Open House, and Tea Tours to the Pittsburgh community. In being trained to become a tour guide of the Nationality Rooms, you will learn about the heritage of countries around the world and the ethnic and cultural communities that make up Pittsburgh. The globally minded students in our organization truly bond and become a community, hosting fun member events like trying different cultural cuisines in Pittsburgh, powerpoint parties, and jezyk-making. Our members also have the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to visit embassies!
